PROJECT SCOPE

This project consists of a UI redesign of some key screens from the Uniqlo ecommerce app.

The design

My main inspiration for the design is the UNIQLO logo. I used the blocky, square nature of the logo and built assets based around it. I sought to make the top navigation less complicated, and feature the products more prominently on the screen.

Perhaps the most important part of an eCommerce platform is the shop page. In my designs, I tried to simplify the shopping flow by grouping together the most important information. I also wanted to include a big hero image so that the consumer can see what they potentially are purchasing.

Perhaps the biggest frustration with using the existing mobile app is how the navigation is always in the way of the content. Being an eCommerce website, there is a lot of content that needed to be organized. I have consolidated all of the different categories into one shop category in the hamburger menu.
